Malaysia Airlines Brisbane KL flights use a330 plane

The first flight on the Malaysia Airlines new A330-300 from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane departed on April 2011 at 9.40am.Captain Mohamed Azharuddin Osman welcomed all passengers on board flights MH135 to Brisbane.
Malaysia Airlines currently offer five flights per week on their Brisbane-Kuala Lumpur route. They also provide connections to many other asia destinations
The new a333 airplane was launched amidst a ceremonious event at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The new Malaysia Airlines Airbus A330-300 is the first of 15 aircrafts to be delivered to Malaysia Airlines over the next four years, as part of the airline's fleet renewal programme.

Each of the Airbus A330-300 aircrafts will be configured with two classes, including a Business Class cabin. The Business Class cabin will be equipped with 36 Business Class seats and maintain the same 2-2-2 layout as the previous Airbus aircrafts the airline was using on the same route. They airline have opted for this configuration rather than the 2-3-2 configuration that leaves Business travellers with less space.
The A330s have also been renovated to include some crucial amenities such as; each seat will have an AC power adapter nearby for Business travellers to plug in their laptops, tablets and other electronics, in order to charge them or use them during the flight. The cabin also includes some larger compartments for overhead storage, and mood lighting which varies at different time during the flight to create a pleasant ambience. Business Class travellers will also have access to the MAS’ Golden Lounge situated in Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
