easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, has today announced four exciting new destinations from Stansted next Spring, further boosting its extensive route network from the airport in 2010.
Popular Turkish holiday resorts, Bodrum and Dalaman, along with Croatian destinations of Dubrovnik and Split will offer passengers excellent value for money as they are all outside the eurozone.
“This announcement is a real positive beginning to 2010, and will offer our passengers great value for money and even more choice to increasingly popular destinations.
“This is excellent news for both Stansted and easyJet,” said Stansted’s Managing Director, David Johnston. “It is a real vote of confidence by easyJet in Stansted, at a time when the economy is still struggling, and the aviation sector in particular is facing a number of challenges.”
“We remain optimistic about the year ahead, and Stansted’s future, and will continue to work hard to attract new airlines and routes to the airport, supporting our existing carriers and further increasing Stansted’s already impressive network of destinations.”
This is the third new route announcement by easyJet at Stansted in just 10 weeks. Other destinations announced by the award-winning airline are the Canary Island of Fueteventura and Cagliari in Sardinia, bringing the total number of routes served by easyJet from Stansted to 29.
