AirAsia X Introduces New comfortable flatbed Premium seats, Both business and leisure travellers can now treat themselves to the luxury and comfort of new premium seats on airbus a330 and airbus a340 aircraft and still enjoy cheap price.
AirAsia X is the first low-cost airlines to introduce flatbed seats. The standard business class seats of 20” width, 60”seat pitch and recline to 180 degree to a full flat bed. The seats feature universal power sockets, adjustable headrests and privacy screen. Complete with 15kg baggage allowance, premium check-in, priority baggage & boarding, meals & drinks and pillow & blanket.
AirAsia X Premium seats ticket price is very cheap,similar to other airlines economy class fares and a fraction of business class air ticket. A Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur return fare in the new flatbed seats will cost about $1454. the business class fare with Malaysia Airlines on the same route costs about $4700.After all, AirAsia felt people wanted most was a comfortable seat. The free-flowing champagne, five-star cuisine and lounge does not justify the thousands of dollars more charged in a normal business class fare.
AirAsia X has revamped its economy class seats with new ergonomical, reclineable seats at 31” pitch equipped with comfortable adjustable headrests.
AirAsia X currently operates flights from Kuala Lumpur to Perth,london Melbourne and the Gold Coast.
