Frontier Airlines A320 aircraft

Frontier Airlines airbus A320 aircraft feature comfortable all-leather seating with DIRECTV® service in every seatback. The carrier’s entire Airbus fleet is configured with four rows of STRETCH seating, which provides an additional five inches of legroom. The carrier currently operates a total of 54 Airbus aircraft, seven of which are A320s.

“This marks a period of substantial growth for Frontier Airlines,” said Daniel Shurz, VP of strategy and planning. “With the addition of these three new aircraft, we are launching ten new destinations out of our Denver hub this spring and we’ll increase capacity in several markets with the addition of A320 service.”

The ten new markets were announced in late February, with service beginning as early as April 19. The new markets include; Branson, Mo. (BKG); Fairbanks, Alaska (FAI); Grand Rapids, Mich. (GRR); Green Bay, Wis. (GRB); Long Beach, Calif. (LGB); Louisville, Ky. (SDF); Madison, Wis. (MSN); Newport News/Williamsburg, Va. (PHF); New Orleans (MSY); and Santa Barbara, Calif. (SBA).

Several of Frontier’s current destinations will see an increase in capacity with the addition of A320 service on at least one of their daily roundtrip flights. These markets include Akron/Canton, Ohio (CAK); Dayton, Ohio (DAY); New York, New York-LaGuardia (LGA); Portland, Ore. (PDX); and Seattle/Tacoma (SEA).

The Airbus A320 aircraft has 162 leather seats in a three-by-three configuration with DIRECTV® in every seatback. Each aircraft has four rows of STRETCH seating, which provides an additional five inches of comfy legroom. With the delivery of the remaining two A320s, Frontier will operate a total of 54 Airbus aircraft made up of nine A318s, 38 A319s and seven A320s.
