UA increase Flights to Mexico City Airport
United Airlines is expanding flights into Mexico City Benito Juárez International Airport from its hubs in Chicago ORD, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco. United has launched a second daily flight from LAX to Mexico City beginning Oct. 15, and a third daily beginning Jan. 4, 2011. From Chicago ohare airport, United's current Saturday-only service to Mexico City will become twice-daily beginning Nov. 4. From San Francisco, daily service to Mexico City becomes twice-daily on Nov. 4. From Denver, United will offer once-daily service to Mexico City between Dec. 16 and Jan. 3, 2011. All flights will be operated with Airbus A319 and Airbus A320 aircraft with first class and coach service.

United Airlines is offering customers a refreshing new signature cocktail, Sunrise Sunset, on all United flights that offer beverage service. The sweet and tangy cocktail, developed by United flight attendant Tita Martin, is a mix of cranberry apple juice, a splash of orange juice, a squeeze of lime and vodka.
The Sunrise Sunset cocktail is complimentary in United First® and United Business® and is available for purchase for $7 in United Economy®.
“Ensuring my guests have a comfortable and enjoyable flight is one of the most important aspects of my role as flight attendant,” said United flight attendant Tita Martin, who has flown with United for 19 years. “With Sunrise Sunset, I sought to offer a drink that would help our customers enjoy their journey and to bring a bit of fun to the experience.”

United Airlines launched nonstop flights between Washington DC and Lagos, Nigeria, United’s second destination on the African continent, beginning Dec. 12, 2010.
U.S.-bound service from Lagos begins Dec. 13 with the departure of United 991 at 9:30 p.m. After a stop in Accra, the flight will arrive in Washingtonthe next day at 6:11 a.m.
United 990 will depart Washington Dulles International Airport daily at 10:43 p.m., arriving at Lagos ’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 5:35 p.m. the next day after a stop in Accra, Ghana.

Flight CO672 departs Los Angeles at 8:20 a.m. daily, arriving in Guadalajara at 1:15 p.m. The return flight (CO673) departs Guadalajara at 2:10 p.m. daily, arriving in Los Angeles at 3:30 p.m. The Los Angeles – Guadalajara service is operated with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with seating for 160 customers (16 in first class and 144 in economy).
